The CentriFlow Meter from Eastern Instruments is a Solid Particle Mass Flow Meter that is durable, accurate, maintenance-free, compact, and cost-effective. It is unique and positioned to replace weigh belts, impact meters, loss in weight meters, and static weigh scales, anywhere that accuracy, low maintenance, and zero drift are paramount. Utilizing the patented CentriFlow Technology The CentriFlow Meter offers accurate, cost-effective and simple solutions to your process measurement needs.
The LDM model of CentriFlow Meter is specifically designed for measuring bulky, low density materials such as whole leaf tobacco or shredded plastic bags. The Type II configuration allows Meter is an enclosed style meter that can be installed directly after feed devices such as Rotary Valves, Screw Conveyors, Bucket Elevators, or any feed device that discharges product in a vertical direction, for accurate and dependable flow measurement of virtually any flowable solid.
The CentriFlow LDM Type II Meter is a solids mass flow meter designed specifically for bulky, low density materials. The Type II Meter has an opened throat system that allows for larger particle materials to flow through the meter without the potential of clogging or backing up through the system. The Type II Meter is designed to be installed directly after feed devices that move material in a vertical direction such as rotary valves, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, etc. With many options available as well as a variety of customizable features, the LDM Type II meter has been specially optimized to measure materials such as tobacco leaves, wood duct, corn stover and even shredded plastic bags.
LDM TYPE II METER: BULKY MATERIALS
The CentriFlow LDM Type II Meter is a bulk solids mass flow meter specially designed to be installed directly after feed devices that move material in a vertical direction such as slide gates, rotary air locks, or screw conveyors. The Type II Meter features an enclosure with easy access doors that allow access to nearly the entire flow path of material through the meter. Although the LDM meter enclosure is larger than the standard CFM Type II enclosure, the LDM meter still fits within less that 5 feet of vertical space. For tighter fits, custom enclosures are also available. The Type II Meter is great for any bulky, free flowing material with relatively low bulk density.
